Hyperion started because the AI industry had a delivery problem. Great ideas, poor execution. Endless demos, nothing in production. We decided to fix that.
Why we exist.
In 2023, a team of engineers and product strategists in Yerevan sat down with a shared frustration: they had seen the same story play out dozens of times. A company gets excited about AI. They hire a consultancy. Months of workshops, strategy decks, and proof-of-concepts follow. Then the engagement ends — and nothing is in production.
The problem wasn't the technology. It was how the work was being done. Too much process, not enough engineering. Too many stakeholders, not enough accountability. Too focused on the pitch, not the product.
Hyperion was built as the antidote to that. An engineering-first studio where the goal is always the same: working software, in production, creating real value. No theatrics. No retainer-padding. Just the work.
The story so far.
Two years in — and just getting started.
Hyperion was founded in Yerevan, Armenia — born out of frustration. We had watched too many AI projects get scoped to death, demoed endlessly, and never shipped. A small team of engineers and strategists decided to do it differently: start with the outcome, build toward it fast, and take accountability for the result.
Within months of opening, we were working with clients across MENA and Europe. Early engagements spanned computer vision, data pipelines, and AI-driven internal tooling. Word spread because the work spoke for itself — no slides, just shipped products.
As demand grew, so did the model. We formalised two distinct service lines: custom AI product development and AI transformation consulting. Each served a different client need — but all shared the same engineering standard.
We opened representative offices in London and Dubai to serve our growing European and MENA client base. Hyperion was no longer a Yerevan studio — it was a global operation with a single, consistent delivery culture.
Today Hyperion works with organisations across 12 countries — from seed-stage founders to enterprise transformation programmes. Every engagement still starts the same way: with an honest conversation about what success actually looks like.
